“Art is Love - DC” " is a platform series designed to provide a platform for District of Columbia's (DC) creatives to showcase their artistic and musical talents. By hosting a range of events featuring live Go-Go musicians, poets, DJs, visual artists, comedians, and showcasing various forms of art and sculptures, we aim to enrich the cultural landscape of DC. Our project also seeks to foster community relations, support the Go-Go music genre, stimulate economic growth, and provide a safe and supportive platform for DC creatives.
By hosting a variety of events, we aim to strengthen community ties and foster a sense of unity and shared identity, narrowing the bridge between the community and the arts. Expand Positive Light and History of the Go-Go Music Genre:
Through our events, we aim to increase the visibility and recognition of Go-Go music, thereby contributing to its historical and cultural significance. Increase Revenue Growth with Small Businesses and DC Government: By attracting attendees and participants to our events, we aim to stimulate economic activity, leading to increased revenue for small businesses and the DC government. Foster Great Relationships and Entertainment for DC Residents: By hosting positive and entertaining events, we aim to foster relationships among DC residents and provide them with a regular source of entertainment.
